Lesson 4: Class Health Quiz and Tally sheet

Posted on March 30, 2020

Class Health Quiz

As a class, or small group, complete the It Takes 7 Class Quiz

You can use some or all of these questions or make up your own.

After you have completed the Class Health Quiz, present your findings using graphs.

Do you need help remembering how to present your information in graphs?

Here is a simple pictograph  showing tally marks and a bar graph. Can you see different kinds of animals being tallied and the tally represented in the bar graph?

TASK:

  1. Choose a question from the Class Health Quiz. For example, Question 1: How do you come to school? Write down the different ways students come to school: car, bike, bus, walk.
  2. Tally how many students use each mode of transport.
  3.  Now put that data into a graph.
  4.  Choose another question, or series of questions, and show the results in a similar graph format.

You may like to use EXCEL and PowerPoint to help with your presentation.

When you have finished, show your graphs to your teacher.
